Vladimir Sahakyan

1932.  Born in Yerevan on February 16

1939-1949. Studies at secondary school after Sh. Rustavelli, Yerevan

1950-1958. Studies at Yerevan specialized artistic school after P. Terlemezjan,graduates it with honours

1952-1956. Enters the Soviet Army

1960-1965. Studies at Yerevan artistic-theatrical Institute, graduates it with honours

1970. Becomes a member of the Union of Artists of the USSR

Since 1968 Has participated in ALL-Union, republican and foreign exhibitions

1977-up to Teaching at Yerevan artistic- theatrical Institute( at present Academy of Arts)

1983. The 1 st personal exhibition in the House of Artists of Armenia

1986.  The 2nd and 3 rd personal exhibitions in Donetsk and Mariupol (the Ukraine)

1988. The 4th personal exhibition of aquarelles in Nepal

1997.  Receives the title of a professor

2002.  The 5th personal exhibition in the exhibition hall in the House of Artists of Armenia dedicated to the 70^th anniversary of the artists birthday

2004.  6th personal exhibition in Yerevan

2004.  Full member of the international Academy of Nature and Public, academic

2007.  Full membe of the European Academy of Natural Sciences, academic (Germany, Hannover)

2007.  Diploma of Ministry of Education and Sciense of Repablic of Armenia.

The major part of V. Sahakyan`s works can be found in different museums of Armenia

(including the National Gallerys), Russia, the Ukraine as well as in private collections in the USA, Japan, England, Italy,France, Germany
