In the academic years 2008-2009 Samvel Karapet Martirosyan the lecturer of the united chair of painting, drawing and sculpture was conferred the academic title of professor.

Hasmik Murad Mnatsakanyan- the Chair of Design and Textile Design /Fashion/

Araksya Sedrak Ghazaryan- the Chair of Decorative Applied Arts and Computer Graphic

Through the academic years 2008-2009 two research students from the academy have defended a scientific thesis and have been conferred the academic degree of Art candidate.

1. Ruben Armen Bubushyan- the theme was "The manifestations of Postimpressionism in the Armenian painting at the beginning of the XX century". Supervisor of studies was Vigen Ghazaryan doctor of Arts, professor.

2. Arsen Suqias Torosyan- the theme was "The Armenian caricature in the second half of XIX century and in the first decade of XX century ". Supervisor of studies was Levon Chugaszyan  doctor of Arts, professor.
