All courses are graded according to the preceding chart, with the
exception of internship and fieldwork. The latter are graded based on
internship supervisor’s report in the form of a final evaluation and
projects submitted by students and may be graded “Pass/Fail”.
The passing benchmark is GPA of 2.0 or an “E”.
“2.0” or an “E” is granted to the students if he or she has to some
degree failed to attend the classes, has serious gaps in the assignments
and the submitted assignment does not fully comply with the requirements
of the course, has demonstrated a satisfactory performance in class, has
participated to some degree in seminars and fieldwork and demonstrated
satisfactory performance at the final exam.
“FX” is granted if the student has failed to actively participate in the
classes, has failed to complete the assignments in an appropriate manner
or has managed only a small part of it, was not active during the
seminars and fieldwork, has presented only part of assignments at final
exams or has answered the questions outlined at the final exam
unsatisfactorily, and conducted a non-complete literature research. In
the event of getting an FX the student is allowed to complete all the
assignments by the end of the next semester first month and take the
final exams of the given semester only with the consent of the Chair.
“F” is granted if the student has scored less than 50% average of all
the courses taken in the given semester. In order to improve the state
the student has to retake the given course and only after passing it
successfully is allowed to take the exam.
